| Jon Brion – Little Person Lyrics | 17 years ago |

The woman is speaking from the perspective of a man. That's why she talks about missing a wife and a child. Jon Brion wrote this song especially for the film "Synecdoche, New York" which centers around a male protagonist. I love this song, because it discusses the monotony of life. The simple, trivial happenstances of human existence, feeling insignificant, and ultimately the loneliness of being human at one time or another. And then, of course, making a human connection. "I know you You're the one I've waited for. Let's have some fun" Definetly my favorite part of the song. |
