| The Police – Message In A Bottle Lyrics | 16 years ago |

I agree with you, but I also see the song as the bottle, and the underlying message of the song that he hopes will help the world, is literally the message in the bottle. Other than that I think you're spot on with this being about song writing and other song writers being isolated like him. |

| Kashmir – Prawns Blues Lyrics | 16 years ago |

My first thought before actually seeing the lyrics, was that he was well of but ended up as an injured war veteran during the golf war (that was what i got out of the oil thing). But it seems to be about a rich man who ends up getting fired from his oil company (butt scuds were having fire-feast). Now he's a homeless, not necessarily crippled, but people don't want to acknowledge his existence. I'm guessing that he is either planning on offing himself, leaving town or somehow miraculously redeem himself. |

| Seems more about a pornstar director and date rape to me. | |
| Oasis – Wonderwall Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| That might be the best poem analysis I have ever read, I'm following every word of it, good job. | |
| Kashmir – She's Made of Chalk Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I like Arky's interpretation, but I see this song as simply being his serenade towards a goth/emo/sad girl. | |
| The Beatles – She Came In Through the Bathroom Window Lyrics | 17 years ago |

I like luciemabelle more litteral take on it. But i also think the first word sounds like sex just like salrus said. She came in through the bathroom window (she took it from behind) Protected by a silver spoon (protected by a condom) But now she sucks her thumb (shes arroused at sucks her thumb, or his penis?) and wanders By the banks of her own lagoon (she starts masturbating herself). |

| The Jimi Hendrix Experience – All Along the Watchtower (Bob Dylan cover) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I'm pretty convinced that it's about Vietnam. The joker are the Vietnamese, the thief the soldiers, the princes the government. They both mutualy agree that they want it to stop, and the first verse is about the Vietnamese view of it. The second the thief lets him know that the American people are also against the war. The third one could either be about the government ignoring the issue, or hinting at the protests with the barefoot servants, and the elements making sounds, yelling out. |
