Very ambiguous, as usual. The song is absolutely amazing. Hopefully this and all the others will be formally released at some point. I feel like it's to a kid that they possibly made fun of back in the day, but in reality they thought he was "the sweetest kid". The kid never showed how much it affected him, and eventually he landed in a mental hospital where he was put on the "pills that won't work". He feels bad about treating the kid this way, and this is sort of his apology. All the time we get by trying to figure out or lives like a fade out........... |
