The video related to a party the were invited to in an building or something where every room they went to was apparently the wrong one. Or something like that. I love this song, especially the catchy little riff in the pause in the verse. |

In concert, Aled mentioned that the song was dedicated to Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. I don't know if he was joking, but the name 'Church Tongue' may relate to Drew's character's want for a "Church Kiss" in her wedding during 'The Wedding Singer". A lot makes sense as well, he likes her but just doesn't like the fact that she's got what he considers perfect and how his life isn't exactly tip top. |
