dude, get those fucking X's out of here. those are for the fdaggot scene kids, not true HC kids. the only time its acceptable to use X's is for abbriviating straight edge. any way, this song is about how the first wave of HC bands (Flag, Minjor Threat,SSD, etc.) looked down on the second wave of HC, but not necesarally the bands i mentioned "they had their noses in the air. Pretending that they care about our scene... than coded messages in slowed down songs." this quote shows that. also most first wave HC bands started slowing down and getting more "musical". "Cause what might, what might seem dumb to you is pounding in my heart." this touches me personally, b/c 2 of my friends that were really into HC with me, now think its stupid and pointless. they've moved on to more "musical" shit and totally forget that music is also about the feel the vibe the message. but fuck em. i stay true to where my hearts feels it should be. |
