i love this song. number one played right now. i think it's hypothetical. he feels like he's waiting for the perfect woman, but hasn't found/met her yet. so he's just waiting for her to show up. i don't think he's apologizing for a dog though? that's a little farfetched haha. fetched. no pun intended |

honestly, who cares who the song is about? i don't care if it's about joe jonas or santa claus, it's a legit song that is really relatable, at least to a lot of girls. it's just about some guy (yes, specifically joe jonas) who told her he really lvoed her and then decided he didn't anymore but she still does and can't figure out what changed his mind. i love this song though. but on topic of the other posts, in my opinion, both parties are in the wrong. it was wrong of him to break up over the phone, that's cowardly. he could have waited until they could be face to face. i would probably hang up on the jerk too (oh, wait i did! by the way, 27 seconds beats my record of 43). but she's being childish about it. as a person in the public eye who dated another celebrity, i expected her to react with more class, not be all salty about it on tv and in magazines. |

| i kinda interpret it differently. to me, it sounds like she and this guy dated before but for whatever reason it didn't work out. he moved on to this bimbo but she's still in love and she's telling him "you belong with me". idk, it's because of where she says "Oh I remember you drivin’ to my house in the middle of the night" and "I haven’t seen it in a while since she brought you down". i could be wrong | |
