This is definitely not the song's "meaning", but to me it's like the soundtrack to one-night-stands. "a happy day and then you pay, and feel like shit the mourning after" ...and... "Situations get fucked up and turned around sooner or later And I could be another fool or an exception to the rule" You leave the girl's house, almost no sleep, still semi-drunk/high and kind of enthusiastic about the last night, that you got that girl...but at the same time kind of deeply f****ed up, distorted. No real feelings involved, just this dumb game again... And this melody - quite too sweet to stand - just wanna make me cry about all... |
