| Lily Allen – Fuck You Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
why is everyone talking about george bush? i know the lyrics would make sense that way, but i heard this song is dedicated to katy perry. perry referred to herself as "a skinnier version of lily allen", so lily wrote this charming song for her. i don't know if its true, they definitely did have a fight in the media, but if it is about perry i say good on you lily. she saved face by making perry look ridiculous and making the whole situation rather funny. lily always talks about how insecure she feels about her looks (even though she's fucking beautiful), but people love her for how honest and funny she is |

That's so true, people think I'm weird when I'm on the phone to someone and I'm like "I can hear you smiling!" But he sounds so proud of himself haha. It's such a sweet song, but so sad as well. "My soul is useless without you." How beautiful. |

| Sorry but how does "Inspector Gadget" or police brutality have anything to do with this song? It seems like you're trying to squeeze every big word you know into your comment, which kind of loses any credibility you think you have, seeing as you can't even get basic grammar right. Eg "it's quintessential meaning" - "it's" means "it is", you mean "its" as in possessive. | |
| Angus and Julia Stone – My Malakai Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| it's about their dog, whose name is malakai. he's actually a dingo, which is a wild Australian dog. dingoes look a little bit like wolves, although they're smaller and sandy coloured. they're very beautiful. | |

i don't think it's about obsessive love, or lust.. i think someone was right when they said it's questioning whether we can "love within our restraints", that was very insightful... but i think that, quite simply, it's just about love. love at its most innocent. "you say you want..." all these grand, beautiful, tragic things "you say you'll give me..." tall promises They promise him the world, never knowing that they are the world to him. |

| Garbage – Bleed Like Me Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| someone here said that the singer of garbage explained this song as being about compassion. that's essentially what she means by "bleed like me" - this song shows a number of representations of self-harm, which in itself is an outward manifestation of loneliness, isolation. the concept of bleeding the same as another person means simply that, in the end, we are all the same; we all hurt; we all bleed. | |
