i believe that this song is about someone who has lost his/her way, and has turned their back on God and Christianity in general. "Oh unfaithful when will you find what you’re looking for Never, she cries out forever She never called out your name I’ve witnessed this before She needs to, she needs you" this basically is saying, when will you find your way, when will you come back to what you feel and knew once was right. Never is her crying out to God, as some have done before, that he is not real, and turning her back saying she will never believe. The bottom is saying, she once believed, she needs God, even if she says she doesnt.
