Thanks for your help! I knew that what I had wasn't quite right, but I couldn't quite figure it out. I posted whatever I could in the hopes that someone could pitch in and make it better. I'm hoping there will be a lot of revisions. I love the part "the light in your verse and the shadow between." I interpret that to be about exegesis, though I don't know if it's biblical or something else. Whatever verse she is talking about, there is light (truth, knowledge) in the words, but shadows (mysteries to be interpreted) as well. It reminds me a lot of St Augustine "Confessions." |

No I don't care if you saw, I watched every inch of film Flash across your Roman features, and I loved it, loved it. This is one of my favorite lines in a song because it brings back a really strong memory for me. I was on my first date with a girl that I went on to care very deeply for, and I literally couldn't take my eyes off of her. We were watching a movie and I remember precisely the way the light from the movie lit up her face. I'll think of her every time I hear this song. |
