some girls from my studio did a dance to this song. that dance is probably the reason i think this song is about suicide. its about a friend trying to help another suicidal friend. "if you fall i will catch you i will be waiting", "im wondering if your ok". When she says "im walking to far ahead, your calling out to me, i cant hear what you have said" it makes me think that the friend is almost to distant to be helped. maybe im just morbid and weird, but i think its a beautiful song none the less. |

I know what you mean about it being a sad song. It makes me wanna cry almost every time i listen to it. it almost makes me feel like i missed something or took childhood for granted.
I think its not just about childhood though, its more about escaping life for a while (perfectly straight lines, dont you wanna curve away) and being in a place where nothing bad can touch you. Like all there is is the moss between your toes and the sun in the sky and the one you love by your side. Its asking 'what more could you need?' |
