I always thought Kickstand was a metaphor for alcohol, "The juice to fill his cup". It stands him up (keeps him together), and maybe his mom's a drinker too. And booze makes you throw up if it gets ahead of you, or "gets loose". |

I think "Kevin's mom made four" might mean whoever went "full on" got mom pregnant. 3+1=4. Not to mention, a pretty good reason not to come around anymore. |

I'll have to agree. You know, for so long, I thought the one line was "I hate myself for wanting to pray", but upon closer listening just now, it does sound like "play". I could understanding the disdain he might have for having to ask for help (seemingly for his addiciton) with something he thought he had under control.
They also sell black tar heroin in balloons, so that is a tip off for me. |
