I hear the lyrics as: I believe You have something that's mine All this time Slow to sing along crawl Fork it over I live among The alarms, where I trip Where they sing Slow to sing along crawl They come over Up the hill Goes in time, rides the beat Of my step Slow to sing along crawl Undiscovered And all the years At quarter speed, haloed and Trembling clean Slow to sing along crawl Turning over Slow down, ladies Slow down, ladies These things get louder These things get louder The lava alarms And your true villain love Are kept at bay Slow to sing along crawl Like you wrote this Will the beams Be broke and crossed, motion sense It's our heat Slow to sing along crawl It's not over Slow down, ladies Slow down, ladies These things get louder These things get louder Slow to sing along crawl Slow to sing along crawl You will find moves |

| I think the "social anxiety disorder" thing makes perfect sense..."Stand inside an empty tuxedo" makes it sound like a reference to feeling like an "empty suit" or invisible, and "grapes in my mouth" always seemed to me like it meant drinking wine at a party, but the choice of words invokes the feeling of being tongue-tied or "marble-mouthed". Brilliant lyrics. | |
