Metallica – Enter Sandman Lyrics 17 years ago
It's an OK song...from the dreaded Black Album. Not even close to being one of my favorite Metallica songs...

A worthy tribute to a fallen legend. This song is absolutely amazing. R.I.P. Cliff. Who knows where Metallica would have been today if you were still here...

Either its very literal and is about the minutes before electrocution, maign a statement about capital punishment, or its about being in a fatal situation you have absolutely no control over.

Pretty much sayin that the judicial system is corrupted severly. I heard this song came to be after Cliff Burton's death. Hetfield accused the bus driver of being drunk at the time of the accident, but the charges were never filed.

It's about addiction to heroin ("Needlework the way") and cocaine ("Chop your breakfast on a mirror"). The drugs basically beome your masters, as it's almost impossible to ignore the cravings. I always think of this song as a low blow at Dave Mustaine.

Another Black Day – Wicked Soul Lyrics 17 years ago
Awesome song form an awesome band. Sure, it definitly doesn't sound like their other, heavier songs (which still are amazing), but it still can hold its own. ABD is one of my favorite bands, and it started with this song.

Metallica – Disposable Heroes Lyrics 17 years ago
This is a great song, in both the instruments and lyrics. I think it describes how joining the military is made to look so heroic and respectful to your country, but once you're out on the battlefield, nothing matters but yourself. The government doesn't care if you live or die, they just want you to do their bidding at your expense. Of course, this doesn't mean that you are ignorant for joining the armed forces, I still think it is very respectable, and I'm not taling about the U.S. government in particular.
