Robots in Disguise – Mnemonic Lyrics 17 years ago
i really like about what they write. "normal" things, yet unusual, things that sometimes one thinks about a lot, like memories, memorizing, identity (well, some do :). they write so beautiful lyrics, the way to put it into words is kinda "poetic", in a way, not simple; flahing bits in it and jumping lines.

i agree with sezzley, "the identity formed from memories", could be in it. (though personally i think there is more to identity than that, "incorporated society" e.g., to get technical... :)

anyway, really cool!

Robots in Disguise – Turn It Up Lyrics 17 years ago
it doesn't really matter which songs it is, if one doesn't understand clearly, does it...
it is just, it's, it's every song you love; it makes you feel different, makes you feel something, gets you up, gets you somewhere
it's all emotions, it is moving into the songs

it's music as soundtrack of one's life

it's so beautiful i can't believe it! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!

The Mighty Boosh – Love Games Lyrics 17 years ago
i think that all songs - as are all jokes and the whole "boosh" - is showing the "love" of fielding and barratt towards each other, since eveyrthing one does is kinda like an expression of your emotions - and i mean "love" as something that goes beyond the concept of this romantic-one-and-only-thing between two people; something that stands for emotionally involved people in genereal, in whatever way, no line... so it does express them. even if not literally. beautiful to see!

i really like the twisted and twisting humour of the mighty boosh, the jumping and surreality, as well as the genial costumes and the fine music and songs. i adore love games, cause it is funky, good rhythm and lyrics.
i sometimes though have "tummy ache" with the boosh and their "sexual" humour. in this case, "intersex" (it's not a transsexual, in fact for me it goes beyond the classifies genders) is so often something freakish, possesive, somethig connected to a "mental retard", or confused "something".
i'm sure they didn't have seomthing bad in mind since every character in the show is somehow weird :) but gender is a sensitive topic so i think it weighs a bit more then other themes. the reference point here is again "normality" (olf gregg is the creepy one; in his own universe; howard is safed by vince; everything goes back to where it was and where it should be). there could have been differnet ways of displaying it in a still funny but less stereotypical way.

sorry, that was long and went beyond the song. it is its context, though.
