This song is sooo old but when my son started to listen to it I don't know what he was thinking.....I used to dance to it back in 1981...since my son is gone/passed i can only imagine what he was thinking. About a girl who was a "friend" to her but not to him. He must have had strong feelings for her.....she is not worth it. I had told him many a times........he never got it. God rest his soul. |

I think this song is absoluely depressing...its about a boy/girl/ the girl is somewhat clueless as to how much love this guy has for her. He loves her so much and does not have much experience with relationships. she is obviously older and he looks up to her.
(His first and major mistake) especially since they are totally two different people from two totally different backgrounds religiously.He is young and not versed in how cruel women are.....he loved her and would do anything for her. She is clueless, however and he never gets it because he is in love with this stupid, insensitive person. |

I had already posted my comment...some idiot took it off. This is clearly about suicide and how there are people out there who clearly don't care. This person talks about going about her/his daily business..same ole same ole....being there for soooo many people and people not being there for him/her.
He/her in turn can't stand to live this "Physcotic" world where people really think that life is good and they are good...but in reality "they" are not. It is about a person disheartened by what the world has to offer and cannot understand anymore what he/she needs to do to function. They just want a "norma"
relationship but the people they are involved with are really "******" up and think they are not. Its giving up and giving in to soceity's "Norm" and not being the norm but truly being a genuine good person in a "******" up world. DO NOT DELATE MY POST AGAIN!!!!!!! |

Perhaps psychology is all wrong....I mean IT IS based upon simple people, their thoughts, their ideas as to how the world, society, people should BE. I think most of them are insane themselves...what does that tell you? Who knows? Do you?????? I don't ....just a educated thought. He realizes after sometime that people are full of shit and themselves and not in touch with reality but with what really things that does not matter. This song is definetly about people NOT CARING and going about their daily business....using people...not really paying attention to what really is important in the world...I have read the previous posts and wonder really how mature you all are.....some people DO REALLY CARE. Some people do really LOVE in the right sense...they just don't USE one another and so on.......this is a sad sad song....about life, people, soceity......LIFE in general - its the truth.....some people are so ignorant and so oblivous ...someone could want to kill themselves and their supposed "good friends" are so clueless? WHY? Simply because they are so into themselves....and don't give a damn....how sad for those who truly do and have. Point taken. Grow UP! |
