I can't believe no comments for this! This is just a superb mix of Irish folk & rock n roll, and when used as a finale to a show it really kicks a*se. As a Brit I think this is saying to America stop being so insular about yourselves. America was founded on immigration, you nation has been built on the blood and sweat of countless Europeans, Africans and Asians and that shouldn't be forgotten. |

| I can't believe only one comment. Personally I would stick this up there in the top 5 rock songs ever, especially the current live version he's playing. | |

| Makes me cry too, but then so does the theme to lazytown, so maybe I'm just odd... | |

| No, I find it a pile of old tripe, and the whole lot of talentless plebs should have been shot at birth. | |

You know, this has to be one the all time best tracks ever laid down by anyone, anywhere, in the whole flippin world, like. It just moves me to tears. Anyway, this is what it means to me (and I play it every day, all day on my little ipod thingymajig) I'm out for the weekend (dum do do daaa) - like, I'm out yeah (humnming to myself) With nothing to do (dum do do daaa) - Which is why I'm humming, like yeah? I'm missing the good times, what about you, yeah - now I like am so bored I'm talking to an imaginary friend. Now we could lovers (dum do do daaa) - Getting a little stiff, one ffrom the WMB pops into my head. Now we could friends (dum do do daaa) - Down boy Now we could do anything we can pretend - Like, a large giant snail, or maybe a really creamy latte. Once upon a time - So bored start reading a grims fairy tale Don't you know that I was wrong and you were right - A serious bout of multi personality disorder here. Something's coming over me - It's that snail in the WMB again Changed my mind now I can see - Erm, like this could be a metaphor for like, Ghandi or sumfink. You're my hope for the future - Stares lustfully at the dole office Girl you know we've come so far - Well, I have anyway Don't let go and break my heart - Wow, deep stuff here (tear in the eye) You're my hope for the future - Back to the dole office.... Back there in high school (dum do do daaa) - Where I used to be the letching old caretaker Foolish and free (dum do do daaa) - And did a bit of kiddy didling I never realised how sweet it could be, yeah - WMB oozing perverted images Once upon a time Don't you know that I was wrong and you were right - er, de ja vu Something's coming over me Changed my mind now I can see You're my hope for the future Girl you know we've come so far Don't let go and break my heart You're my hope for the future |

| Amazing! I've always loved this one and a nice soothing type of track. Didn't realise it was written for his son but makes sense. I sing this to my two little ones to relax them at night! | |
