Wow, Arg and Rahs just proved to me that the world HASN'T lost all hope! Except Rahs did admit to liking Avril. Sorry, but big strike for you. But I totally and thoroughly with out a doubt agree with Arg. You guys want real, raw, emotion, listen to independent labels. Just because the radio doesn't pump those bands through your ears like a junkie pumps heroin through his veins, does NOT under any circumstance mean that they're a crappy band. It makes me mad when people tell me, "You're weird because I've never heard of that band." But they're oh so wrong. Sorry that I found someone that YOU'VE never heard of before. Oh yeah, back on the Avril note. Have you guys read the footnotes of her songs? She's not the only one who writes them. Which really surprises me because her lyrics just plain suck. Period. End of story. My four-year old sister can write deeper stuff than that. No self respecting person can like a song with the ever-so-emotional name like "sk8er boi." No offense Rahs, I still give you kudos. |
