| That's a bit too far of an interpretation, I'd say. Interesting guess, though. | |
| Nujabes – Think Different Lyrics | 15 years ago |

Well, since I forgot to include this before, this song is quite clear. I wouldn't call it a diss, but it's a clean comparison in between what the artist (the MC) portrays himself as, and to what he believes a "rapper" is. While there's certain distinctions, he still breaks it by saying "It's based on perspective... I'm not better than you, I just think different". All in all, a great song with a great beat. Love it. |

I don't see where it was mentioned, but eh. Regardless, his music has always been truly inspiring and it's great to see more people notice. |

| Ayreon – Day Ten: Memories Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I suppose it's more of how they look back and think of all the experiences they had to gether, both "Me" and "Best Friend", and "Me" and "Wife", that eventually led up to his future [or his then past]. | |

Makes me laugh that you two sound like you copy/pasted. But yes, we all follow in blind faith towards Dr. Steel. |

| Maná – Fe Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
No puedo entender este mundo como es… Que uno puede odiar y herir y traicionar ¿Por qué? ¿Cómo puede ser que hay gente que pueda matar por diferencia de opinión, por tierra, o por religión? No sé... ¡Oh no, míranos! ¿Dónde esta nuestro corazón? Oye mi canción- ¡Ya no más sangre!, gritalo! Fe!, Dame fe, dame alas.., dame fuerza... |

| Ayreon – Day Two: Isolation Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| To the contrary, their choruses[?] have much relevance, considered this is the second day, when his consciousness reveals itself, and his emotions speak to him for the first time. Reason, passion and pride unveil themselves, in a sort of introduction. | |
| Ayreon – Day Six: Childhood Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
Yes, the "he" in the song is Me's father. In this song, Me is just a small child, afraid of anything, trying to strive to become better than his father, [who is later revealed to be worse off as a human being] because Me is inferior to him in every way. The father always takes the opposite end of Me's opinions, always posing as an adversary. During this song it is also revealed how his father thinks ill of him [And then he would tell her / How I tripped and hurt my head, how I’d always be a loser], and doesn't care for him at all. This results in Me's uncaring attitude towards his father to the end of the song. |

| Ayreon – Day Eight: School Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
Day 8 deals with a lot of emotional problems "Me" faced during his first days of school. In this new environment, he's faced with new kids, personalities he hasn't come into contact with, and how he makes the wrong choices to fit in, and not be one of the "weak" kids that would get picked on, by what he eventually became [a bully]. The whole song deals with his conscience telling Me whether or not he should or shouldn't make the wrong decision to prove them wrong [by presumably beating up a kid?]. In the end, he does, finding he has made a wrong decision, and can't go back. |

| Ayreon – Day One: Vigil Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| This is obviously day one of the 20-day-story, wherein "Me" is found lying on the bed in a coma, fresh from a car accident, wherein Best Friend and Wife visit him to see what has happened. | |
| Ayreon – Connect the Dots Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
Originally, the wikipedia mentioned something about the lines: "I checked the Mac, I left it on overnight, Downloading all the latest files, Peer to peer the torrent flows into my life and I disconnect" I found this humorous, as to an artist mentioning torrents as part of a person's daily life. |

| Ayreon – Day Sixteen: Loser Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I honestly didn't consider this song funny. I can see what you mean, but I found the repetition of "loser" as contributing to the power/feeling of the song. Hence my standing. | |
| Sonata Arctica – In Black And White Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
The song's pretty straightforward, I believe. Basically, revenge for lost love, and expressing said revenge. [Ie. Doorman at Deathrow; now I will hit you where it hurts.] That's -my- take on it. |
