| Something For Kate – White Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| this song seems to be about religion. the first verse centers on someone's thought that Heaven is imminent, and that thought is a requirement. The chorus is about how the observer believes that this is "wishful thinking and fantasy". He "hope(s) that you're not, hoping for [him]". The second verse appears to be about the scientific crowd, and how they ask us to just line up in particular order. "I know that you can't be knowing for me" is a shot against those who say "it doesn't matter what you think, God (or science) is right". A great look at how many can be disillusioned by both sides. | |
