Keep in mind that Barnes said most of Skeletal Lamping is about Georgie Fruit. I imagine this song as being from the point of view of Georgie, and elaborating on his backstory a little bit.

Great record, great fucking song. Saw Of Montreal live last night at the Tabernacle in Atlanta, Barnes was in a centaur costume during this song. Very cool. Best show I've seen in a while.
