Rated 0 rate down rate up I had always assumed this site was for posting song translations / meanings, i haven't really seen many attempts at that, mostly everyone commenting on if they like it or not. I would like to comment on what this song means to me, when i first heard this song it impacted me pretty well because i felt like it was singing right to me. To me this song is about a forbidden love. Perhaps an adulterous love. The man has a family that is more important to him than anything else, but he has allowed himself to fall in love with another woman. Now stuck in this funky limbo, he sings about how his heart tears both ways. --------------------------------------------------------------- I'm not loving you, the way I wanted to: All though he felt something for the girl, he didnt feel he was being true as he knew deep down inside he would never give his family up for her. --------------------------------------------------------------- What I had to do, had to run from you I'm in love with you, but the vibe is wrong And that haunted me, all the way home He was afraid of what could happen. had to find a way to run. to get out of the relationship. but he confesses, that even though the vibe was wrong... hes in love with her.
