I love this song so much! It's the song i play before i go on a date =) or am going to something stressful =) Its brilliant =) It's also absolutely hilarious when your drunk with your mates =D Singing "Lets Make Out" at the top of your voices gets you very odd looks! But yeah i do think its about masturbation, but mainly about having a girl on his mind all the time. And wanting to go 'further' in the relationship. Also it could be about temptation "Too many legs under the table, too many reasons for trouble" Overall bloody amazing song! Crank the volume up, and dance/sing your heart out! |

Oh my god. My favourite sad song of all time. And my favourite song throughout the film Trainspotting. Even though its not about a breakup, its the song i play when it happens to me. The line "I can't feel coz im numb" is so impacting during a time like it. Its definitely about Heroin, as (spoiling the film here) it's after the baby dies through neglect. Everyone gets a "hit" to relieve the pain from the tradegy, although it only delay's the problem. I feel its during this time that Ewan's character realises that he has to move away from it all, and that heroin is the main culprit "So what's the worth in all of this" Anyway great song. I love Blur. One of the best bands in existance in my opinion. |
