Couldn't have said it better. It's all about avoiding having feelings for the other person, but since it s inevitable to have feelings, at least we can avoid sharing them. I love the way Rachael structures the song, especially the part when she sings about how every time she thinks she's won him over, she hears him say the same thing, which puts her back to square one again. It's that two people use the physical things to replace a mutual denial of emotions. Simple lyrics, but conveys soooo much. |

| I can listen to this song on repeat all night long. It's about the need for a catharsis of sorts, to wake up one day and realize that you need a new beginning, and not just hurt yourself the same way, with the same guy, over and over again. | |
