I think it's about a boy who truly loved a girl that just didn't get the picture. I'm not sure if she was to imature or what but in the end he's having to turn his back on her because no matter how hard he tried...it wasn't appreciated by her. She wanted more than he could bear because she wanted so little and he couldn't help but give as much as possible. It's about respect. At least that's what I think the song is about since that's how my relationship with my man is right now....except I'm in his shoes. |
