This song reminds me of working at a sh itty job, and having to bite your tongue around your superiors, even though there's so much you really want to say. At least that's what it makes me think of. "Hand over my heart I swear I've tried everything I could Within all my power two weeks and one hour I slaved and now I've got nothing to show" He slaved for two weeks and now he's got nothing to show for it. Definately reminds me of my job, lol. I'm not sure if this song is about a girl. Could be though. |

I wonder if this song is about doing a "Mission to Mars". It's when you're tripping on something and huff vicks vapor rub crouched down, you take a big breath and someone comes up behind you and grabs you, pulling you up and squeezeing all the air out of you. Someone told me it gives you a crazy high when you take your last breath and then all the air leaves you. Just a weird thought I had when I read those lyrics..."I'll breathe your life vicks vapor life, And when you binge I purge alike. Let go it's harder holding on One more trip and I'll be gone" And the next verse when he says "Take a breath and make it big It's the last you'll ever get". That would also explain the line "Hold me closer, closer let me go let me be just let me be". I know it's a stretch, but the thought sure did cross my mind. |
