this is my favorite song of all time. literally. i think it's about an anxiety attack. the "demon" is taking over your mind, once it starts you can't fight it off. "a nightmare tape loop of what went wrong yesterday" and no matter what you do it's all you can think about, no matter what you put into it everything around you is suffocating you "how'd you like to feel alone and drowning?" "there's a bone in my hand that connects to a drink, in a crowded room where the glasses clink" all the little noises get loud and painful. "i'll buy you a beer and we'll drink it deep" let me drink and have a good time and get my mind off of all this stress or depression that causes anxiety .. just seems like it fits. when i get too anxious i listen to it and it kinda soothes me it's nice. but my goodnesssss i love this song |

LOVE this song. i believe it's about two people whose relationship didn't work out and neither understand why. they both miss each other but neither have the guts to come forward about it. they're each on one side of the "screen" (like in a movie), depressed and lonely, wanting the other back. | i really like this song.. i think it's about a relationship that has she can't keep up. it keeps failing, but she keeps trying again and again. "my finger's on the trigger" could kinda be like on the verge of ending the relationship for good. "why am i surprised?" why is this happening again? ... i dunno there's a lot of things that are kinda specific. i like it a lot though. | |
