Black Gold – After the Flood Lyrics 14 years ago
Well played song indeed.
normally I dont like the typical relationship views on songs or how every music song people think is about drugs. but here we go, this is the bs i could think of.

I think it could be about someone cheating in a relationship or a lie that someone told in the relationship that had gone too far. I think it could be a lie in a friendship too but tough to think if that would be powerful enough in a friendship to have the line - another night of cigarettes and short of breath meaning they're upset about something it seems.

None the less it involves a lie I think due to the line of honesty is wearing thin.

Pearl Jam – Just Breathe Lyrics 15 years ago
I think this song is about people he loves in general... Friends, family, then possibly including his relationship with a girl who knows... but he knows he isnt perfect and i think he is telling them that... none the less he needs them...

For this song i can relate to in that way. i had a bad rough relationship. i completely ignored my friends for practically 10 months while i was stuck in rediculous relationship with a girl. and now i am sorry i have wronged my friends which were like brothers i loved. now i am in a better relationship but i came to never neglect friends no matter how p whipped i may get, I am lucky to count on both hands the people i love.

I think dude also refers to people he loves include the band as well as friends and other people who may be close to him. Think it is about love in general really and how there are times it can be damaged one way or another from our own self which we always seem to later confess

Soundgarden – Black Rain Lyrics 15 years ago
I dunno though, how could it relate to the soundgarden music video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K913KVe3kH8&ob=av2e ? Could be a possible slap to religion saying the so called creators lie to us. It is tough to say on how I can connect the lyrics to that thought but It's easy to ponder on and connect with it yourself. Just a thought though since chris cornell did a lot of rage against machine stuff which slapped both religion and politics. Also in the music video the four dudes sitting in the chairs almost look like rulers of the universe and it also show a bunch of planets aligning... could they be connected all this with 2012, religion, and/or something else along those lines? who knows, Soundgarden put some really creative art into this which makes it none the less very admirable. It has similar groove as old soundgarden had but it's also has a bite of fresh newness to it.

Audioslave – Show Me How to Live Lyrics 16 years ago
his earlier days rebelled against the bad side of religoun due to wars over religoun and what not. however he does get along as a free thinker with agreeing with what he think's jesus's message is- get along with everybody and everything will be ok..
or well thats what I got from this interview of him...
www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngtbjyezj8g

perhaps something with this song could possibley reflect on something he said in this interview, not sure.

Red Hot Chili Peppers – Wet Sand Lyrics 17 years ago
I say it is one of these two which sound best.

-Walking on a beach and imagining a girl was walking with him.

-or his maturity through life through all his problems, especiall drugs cause most people don't form into maturity with drug addictions. Anthony however was lucky especially since it all started when he was young.

Tool – Rosetta Stoned Lyrics 17 years ago
Someone told me that this song has two meanings.
One with something the lyrics

then in this song there is said to be a code with the drum beat that no-one I think knows but the code deals with a message though.
supposively there was a worker who use to work at area 51 and he ended up doing a radio broadcast and I think it was 80 seconds in the radio broadcast that was cut-out... and no-one really knows what was edited out exactly but the code with the drum beat that no one has been able to interpret tells what the guy was saying with in that 80 seconds... then the dude I got this from said this is pry why it's track number 08 (80 seconds) then there are 11 songs on the album (which he guessed had something to do with some thoughts concerning 11:11 rather it be the time or date of it being November 11th when there is 50 days left in the year except for leap years then I think that would have it 51 days which might deal with why the base is called area 51 then there have been numerous stories on weird time slow down stories when encountering with a ufo which causes an extra day... I dunno all the bunch of conspiracy crap that can go with this song blows my mind though- but I don't necessarily believe it

Red Hot Chili Peppers – Bicycle Song Lyrics 17 years ago
Mikaculus-
""""I think that this song might be talking about a young relationship. It begins with him asking a girl out on a date. the part about the bicycle makes me think about what is maybe silly or contrived attempts at conversation. like he was thinking hard about what he would say to her on the date, but forgot. i think it is a song about innocent relationship. together in a silent movie, not a silentmovie but a movie without conversation, he tries to woo her but messes up, his happiness become sad when he cannot spur conversation as he had planned. he completely looses the girls when the world learns of her beauty. if he had remembered to mention the bicycle he might have had a chance to make conversation...and maybe continued the relationship.
"""""

-yes good reading
I would however like to interpret the bicycle as "Easy Conversation or how easy it is to conversate". Then with that... it's sitting beside her in a silent movie- the silent movie is their relationship or possibly first date. AK liked this girl so much it was hard for him to talk to her. This made him sad because he didn't have the courage to and he thinks about all the happy days he could have had if he had talk to her and he realizes that it is really is as easy as riding a bicycle which keeps going just like a conversation can easily be done.

Eventually the girl comes across another guy who didn't act so much like a deadbeat...
and he hopes the movie between them two never end because he doesn't want his chances with her to end.

Then I think he talks about wanting to get a bj from her in one part of the song. then with that he wants to jump the fence between him and himself and talk to her- and say that he is sorry for not being able to talk to her/being such a deadbeat.

That's all I got-
other possiblities which are less likely and I thought it off the top of my mind:
a choir girl in alabama he came across (mentioned her in the song Around The World... Alabama baby girl said hallelujah good god girl- I wish I knew ya... but probably not... just thought that since he is talking about a book and a lyrical case- but that guess is probably way far off from what the song is about)
