sorry to rain on the metaphorical parade, but I would like to actually discuss the meaning of this song. I heard that this song is actually about a gig in which the band was forced off stage because of a barage of projectiles (bottles, trash, ect.) hence the name: ballroom (where they performed) blitz (the attack on the band) could be wrong, as this only explained the chorusessseses, not the soft-spoken parts: Oh it's been getting so hard Living with the things you do to me My dreams are getting so strange I'd like to tell you everything I see that's my take, at least. |
