| I think this is about a person who has very hard reality in contrast to very sweet dreams. It sounds like their relationship is falling apart, along with other efforts like work, or attempting just to figure out their life and constantly failing at doing so, but in their dreams they have someone reassuring them until they wake up. Only to see them vanish when they really need them. I had a series of dreams with someone who was very supportive of me and looked out for me. I always wished to meet him, but never did. Anyway the dream really helped me out in my life, but I wished it wasn't just an illusion, so I feel a special connection with this song. | |
