I assume because the song is called "The Surgeon and the Scientist" that it's not "old project". "Art project" makes sense because art is personal and emotional, where as being a surgeon or a scientist is clinical and exact. There is no emotion or personal feelings attached, which coincides with the last verse perfectly ("don't you trust a scientist...") I know they have posted the meanings of their lyrics on their myspace page at one point, so maybe you can dig 'em up. |
