| BEAUTIFUL SONG, and I don't think this one needs any explanation of the meaning... the song says it all. I think anyone 18 and older has more than likely experienced the meaning of this song. I've heard it over and over, but for some reason a few weeks ago, I was driving down the road, this song came on, and I lost it... but I have to agree with bg831347, the past is the past... we just have to grow and learn from the experience. | |

I'm not real sure of the exact meaning, but I can remember 2 times in particular that I felt like I should've been more like her... and the 1st time it was my husband, but the more I think about that situation... I really wouldn't want to be more like her... I have an outgoing personality, many friends, and believe that beauty is only skin deep... she is nothing like me, so maybe his desire was for something totally different. The second time, I really shouldn't count due to the fact of there was NO 1 woman... there were many, I guess I just wasn't like all of them instead of just like her. Anyway, I love this song, but for me... I wanna be me, I have no desire to be like anyone else... God made me exactly the way he wanted me to be and if that is not good enough for a man, well, he'll have to find someone more like her. |
