This song really sounds to me like it's about the church. The church is looked down upon by society by the hypocrites that tend to be the loudest of the church. The world looks down on the church because of that, and because of the forgiveness that the hypocrites forgot that they received. It's a cry to God to bring us back into his guidance. The name seems to be about how we're so close to the truth and to God (by being in the church) that we can't see or hear what he is trying to teach us about forgiveness.

I really like his use of the perspective of Christ. He does it in a way that is totally different from anything you'd hear anywhere else. It's refreshing.
