I think this song is about a person who saved themself when they were on the brink of a tragedy. Like addiction or suicide. I also think the distant cry was the persons mind and he is talking to himself about the change. |

I agree with this song. Beign about earth and how we dessecrate it. Especially the line "The lovely one screams like she's caught between stations" i always viewed this as beign caught between its own natural state and humans. |
