Hey, SadXuHuang watch the plagiarism! Give Wikipedea credit. Gamma rays are going through you as you read this. They are harmless when not under concentration. They are only deadly in mass numbers. I think the interpretation is accurate though Supernuke has a good point. The Hindu stuff sounds reputable but I don't know anything about it. I don't understand how the gamma ray is a refugee spektorstalker, can you explain that better? This is a Terraplane: http://tbn2.google.com/images?q=tbn:kWX2Iw2YrJbHSM:http://www.geocities.com/hetnznz/memphotos/PidduckTerraplaneCoupe.jpg |

Hey SoulGlow, where is your soul glow? Is that a copy from the "SOUL GLOW ACTIVATOR"(lead singers nickname) This song is for sure about God! Ok so first off, the second "Doctor, Doctor" is capitalized (even on the CD lyrics) which refers to Jesus or God. In the line, "Yeah, a light I can't hide" You can say that love is like light, but in John 1:4-5 it says, "In *Him* was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it." That light that he can't hide is love, which is the life in Jesus, LOVE. Two lines down in the first verse it says, "What I've got in my soul gives me the highest delight" I don't think that worldly love has any association with a persons soul, but the love of God saved the souls of men. (Deuteronomy 6:5) Also it says "delight", not satisfaction, not happiness. Another two lines down the song says, "In fact it's sent from above, huh huh" Is there any other love that comes form "above", other than Gods love? In 1 John 4:8 and 4:16 is states that God is love. He is addicted to God! When he says he is a symptomatic it means he is showing the symptoms of whatever is inside him. (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/symptomatic) We all have sin, so I think the prescription to kill that sin is love. In the second verse in says, "So lay the truth on me, Cause that is all that I need" The truth is part of the prescription. In John 8:31-32 it says, "Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, If you abide in my word, you are my disciples. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." And again in John (the disciple of love) 14:6 is reads, "Jesus said to him(thomas), "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. "(All NKJV) So Jesus is the truth. I believe that the bible, the word of God, is also the truth. I don't see how a person can put all these attributes into the worlds empty hopeless love. Hope it helped explain things. And SoulGlow, let the Love of God glow inside of you! "Yeah, a light I can't hide" -Praise the Lord- |

| That description sounds darn awesome to me. But I would say that a better description of "Beamin'" is satisfaction. But is that what Scottie/God wants? Should we be beaming? (Impressive job Chadek!) | |

Bon Voyage is french for "Good voyage" or "pleasant trip". But in slang form it is just goodbye. I have no good explanation for the new black shoes. Does anyone? Matt emphasizes "Bones" as he sing it, which makes me think he isn't scared of them now. Being that the bones are now bones it suggests that they have been in there for a long time. Therefore, worth cleaning out. But who's bones? I think they are the bones of the people that he has stabbed in the back or hated. Not literally killed. (Hating your brother/anyone is as murdering them, to those who understand it biblicaly.) There is a bad excuse for each person's 'death'. I think that that the abstract excuse has only recently become bad in matt's eyes. "I found a backup plan" I don't know what the original plan was. Any ideas? I find it is interesting that his backup plan is made up of real good friends. Was he going to USE real good friends? But he is saying goodbye to that plan now and is grateful that he didn't have to use it. It is also interesting that he finds that list with both flaws that he saw in himself and in others. It gave me a uneasy feeling the first time, thinking that he doesn't want to fix those flaws on the list. But, are those flaws that he found in himself already corrected? Otherwise I give a thumbs up to Matt for throwing away and ignoring other peoples mistakes. The only thing I can get from: "When it all falls apart and you can't see the forest for the CEMETERIES" is that the cemeteries are as vast as forests when times are depressing. Anything else? In the last verse I believe that his 'Bon Voyage' is one of happiness setting it free and not throwing it away. |

Hey Nearthesky there is good in life and that is Jesus Christ! Christianity is not a religion is it a relationship with the One who died to wipe away sin and give eternal life. For starters I think that Matt is cleaning out his closet/life. He is removing and saying goodbye to past regrets he has stored for too long. When he says, "isn't it nice to know that the lining is silver" I think he is referring to the expression: "Every cloud has a silver lining" If you turn that in to a analogy, you could say that we are all clouds. Some with heavy hearts that need to be emptied, some with dark gray lining, others that are spread out thin across the sky, and those who's lining is silver. Anyone who interprets this differently? In "...we're golden", the 'we' I think is christians. Sounds really boastful, but we are washed clean by the blood of Jesus Christ. I'm going to listen again and make another post. |
