When all this actual life played out Where the hell on Earth was I? Kinda hits close to home for me. Sometimes when I look at old photographs or read old letters I tend to think " where was I really when all of this was happening...Where was my head? What was I doing? Why wasn't I here doing this? Stopping this from happening, Stopping him/her/them from leaving. Why didn't I tell them I loved them." Snow Patrol has some awesome songs with awesome lyrics. I personally think this song is about remembering times gone by and the people that you spent these times with (looking through photographs, reading letters) and just wondering why things changed and where were you when everything was changing. Like looking back at yourself and seeing that your head wasn't really with it at the time. Don't know if this makes sense or not,, Feels like I have just been rambling but oh well. |

The only thing I don't like about this song is how the lines "(I'm screaming, "I love you so") (My thoughts you can't decode)" Are not clear and they don't stand out when they are important. But thats all. |

This song does fit Twilight perfectly. "The truth is hiding in your eyes" And it's hanging on your tongue Just boiling in my blood But you think that I can't see What kind of man that you are If you're a man at all" I think the line about the truth in yoour eyes refer to how Bella always knows when he is thinking about something or when something is wrong. It also refers to the different colours his eyes change. The nect 2 lines are obviously about how he thirsts for her blood. The lines about 'What kind of man you are..." Refers to how Bella see's Edward as a very moral and perfect person. Edward see's himself as being unworthy. I just love how these lyrics do fit Bella's ppoint of veiw. |
