Yeah, I think that line means that people not only want to see the bright side of things, they need to. And in doing so, begin to lie to themselves that everything is ok when everything is in shambles. They'd rather break their neck than face their problems. Instead, they mask their problems and the pain and try to survive. |

To me, this song is about being lost. You are too busy worrying about trying to be found that you can't even stop and find yourself. All you have is your suitcase, a container that houses your memories of a time when things made sense and you could sit down and breathe. |
