this song means the world to me. I can relate to it in every way. It pretty much sums alot of relationships with people, romantic and platonic. I always listen to this when i'm getting down. When Bert gets to the scream on the "Berth" DVD it is one the most amazing things i have ever seen. my old band used to cover this, and when i got the high parts, and the screams, I just put every emotion i had into it, and it would just choke me up. |

ugh. i'm so tired of the deathcore metalcore hardcore scene. i mean, look at guys like emmure. completely unoriginal. Cliche lyrics, (We will never sleep, 'cause sleep is for the weak And we will never rest, 'til we're all fucking dead) cliche breakdowns, cliche everything. all these bands have become imiations of each other. almost all music is anymore. thank god for those few bands keeping originality alive. these are really god-awful lyrics in this song, by the way. i think its about being cliche, and writing the same idiotic macho-testosterone-weight lifter crap i've heard a thousand times. remember how 3 years ago it was all about atreyu and avenged? fuck. it's all so trendy. deathcore=fail. |
