I doubt it. I think it relates to the 'Fool' on tarot cards. A German card game called Hofampterspiel depicts the fool playing bagpipes. It makes more sense with the song as a whole |

hey hoppps. Im not too sure on this. I havent done any research but i get the feelings this is a direct reference to people in the bible. My best guess is the israelites (Good God can you still get us home-the promised land) but the jews (and us) the freedom we have as to whether to follow God or not. But a direct comparison of us as the israelites. We are also lost and messed. And the jews still stuffing it up so many times that their bad use of freedom has left them dead. If you re-read the lyrics you can see the jewish connection. The vagabonds and wanderers and ears and eyes all fit that. But thats just my guess. If anyone actually has anything solid that would be kif to hear. I dont get the how they knew that this would happen? |

This song is freaking amazing. I would love to see aaryon play and sing it but they didnt do it on their tour. As far as I can tell its just aaryon and spencer. On the DVD they dont say anything about saosin and tim did quite a few parts for vocals on the CD so perhaps its all 3 of them. ITs wanderers btw. Underoath say at every concert that they are followers of Christ and are devoted to God but just as important is that they love the non believers and FYourGod all the same. But in defense Im wondring whether FYG would feel the same if a druggie killed someone he loved for the money to support their addiction. Lets be honest it doesnt always end at pot. |
