I thought maybe "i am holding you" could be like she is having all these thoughts about him leaving even when he's in her arms, amoungst other things. I think it's a pretty self explanatory song though. I love eisley. |

I love this song so much.
My friend used to to sing it (along with basically every other Sublime song) when we walked up this hill to get to our dorm at our therapeutic boarding school (basically a rehab/reform school I guess) so after I got out of that damn school I started listening to a ton of Sublime, and this is one of my favourite songs to toke up to <3

So I was listening to this...in an altered state, and so with the lyrics I was like "wow, I wonder if this is an adoption issues song....." like saying "I love my birth parents because they created me" but angry at them because all you were was a fuck, not something they planned to keep, and then to the adopted parents saying "I'm your problem now"...
