This is a beautiful song -- one of my favourites from the new album. I think it's about a relationship, when he sings "Kiss me, kiss me lifes to short to scream and shout" He's saying to the girl that they should make up because lifes to short to have arguements. They should stop argueing and focus on more important things in life. Also, that they should talk about their problems, and how they're feeling "Sing out sing out, the silence only eats us from the inside up" Which is pretty self explainitary. And send your lifeboats out to me means that he's trying to understand her but she won't talk to him or tell him how/whys shes upset. So he's saying send me a lifeline -- a life boat because he's sinking, their relationships sinking and he needs her to save him. Just my own opinion. It would be interesting to see what everyone else thinks :) |
