I don’t think the song is referring to a male or being gay!!!!!
when he says "What will it take to get you up" I think it means standing up and going on to the dance floor because he wants to dance with her. Which makes sense since the line "dance with me in wistful heat" follows
the line "I'm not that kind of man, but I'll make an exception for you" means his not the type of guy to have sex with randoms in the bathroom but he will with her!
I think most ppl can relate to the meaning of the song, meeting someone... wanting it to be more then just sex but letting lust get the best of them |

LOL I highly doubt there singing about semen!!! I think its about a girl who ended a relationship (or something along those lines) based on decision made with her head, despite what her heart felt hence "your hand's on your heart cause your head's always right" |

The line “You are the girl that I've been dreaming of Ever since I was a little girl” makes sense if you thing of it from a girls perspective. As in, the girl has been dreaming of being the guy’s girlfriend hence she dreams of being the other girl (who is dating the guy).
i don’t know if that’s right but at least it makes sense to think of it from that perspective, even if its not right!
Kate Nash did a cover of this song, its not as fun as the original but i still like it! |
