This is personally my favorite Disturbed song.<3 I think it's about someone that dealt with depression in the past, someone that had fallen so far, and so deep into their misery and they'd pushed everyone away and dealt with it on thei own. Once finally pulled out, they pushed the past behind them and finally moved on with their life, only to have something happen and the memory of the past and the emotions they feel now are so foreign yet so familiar at the same time. They hide behind a happy façade on the outside, while on the inside they're in denial that it's happening again, &they're trying to believe that they're fine &trying to "escape" into themselves, away from the depression. Gah! I have to say it, David's voice = AMAZING. |

Quite a few people hit the hammer on the nail instantly with the meaning of this awesome song, and my interpreatation's pretty much the same. He's talking about narrow-minded people only willing to accept their religion and their religion only, hating anything and everything that is different from what they believe and that disagrees with what they were taught. If a person's a Christian, ESPECIALLY a God-fearing, "living by the Bible 24/7" Christian, they shouldn't be so narrow-minded as far as being unwilling to just ACCEPT another person's religion; you don't have to agree with it, just accept it. No need for the hatred towards that person or their religion. Especially considering that fact that in the Bible, Jesus does say in Matthew that "The greatest commandment is for you to love one another, as I have loved you." Same goes towards the Jews and anyone else of a completely different religious background that has limited their mind. No offense to any Christians in what I said, I didn't mean to just single out the Christians like that, nor am I saying that all Christians or that EVERYone that believes in a religion is like that; I'm a Christian myself and I'm the exact opposite of that; but as far as my interpretation of Liberate, I believe David's speaking to all those "Bold motherfuckers" limiting their minds solely to their own religion and hating those to don't agree with what they believe~ But yet, the chorus kinda throws me off. If I'm right, David's saying that he's waiting for everyone's version of the Messiah to come and remove all the hatred inside of them. But to sum this all up, I think the majority of us can agree on the fact that Disturbed has done it again. Yet another AMAZING song by them. |

| The Fray – You Found Me Lyrics | 16 years ago |

"Just a little late, you found me, you found me. Why'd you have to wait, to find me, to find me?" This song... hits me pretty hard. I've been going through depression for the second time in my life as of late, and this really describes how I feel~ like God won't come find me and I really have no one to turn to. I've always loved The Fray however, and I'm definitely grateful for a song like this... definitely a favorite<3 |

| Disturbed – Stricken Lyrics | 17 years ago |

You walk on like a woman in suffering (I see that specific "other" decided to deal with all their problems on their own) Won't even bother now, to tell me why (Refuses to tell him what's wrong) You come alone, letting all of us savor the moment Leaving me broken, another time (He feels hurt that she doesn't trust him enough) You come on like a blood stained hurricane Leave me alone, let me be this time (When she finally realizes that one day HE is hurting, she comes back so hard and acting as if she would always be there even though she wasn't in the past) You carry on like a holy man pushing redemption I don't want to mention, the reason I know (She keeps on trying to get him to tell her what's wrong, to open up though he refuses because he knows she won't always be there, however...) That I am stricken and can't let you go When the heart is cold, there's no hope, and we know That I am crippled by all that you've done Into the abyss, will I run (...he loves her too much to let her go at all, despite how "cold" her heart is towards him by her way to act like she only cares about him sometimes, hurting him and causing him to run towards the darkness, which could possibly be any kind of destructive habit hard to break free of) You don't know what your power has done to me I want to know if I'll heal inside (She has such a stronghold on his heart despite how broken she leaves him, and he doesn't know if he'll ever heal from her) I can't go on, with a holocaust about to happen Seeing you laughing, another time (Once again, he's in pain all over again, but just like usual, she's not there for him, off not giving a damn) You'll never know how your face has haunted me My very soul has to bleed this time Another hole in the wall of my inner defenses Leaving me breathless, the reason I know (The mere idea of her and what she does to him haunts him at times, and slowly he's beginning not to trust anyone anymore, because it seems to leave him hurt or "breathless" as usual) Chorus: It's the same as before. Into the abyss will I run (She's made him turn to something now. That same destructive habit is turning into his only sanity) I can't let you go Yes I am stricken and can't let you go (But in the end, his love for her overpowers his common sense and he can't let her go; he's willing to stay in this relationship and let her continue on like she does) It doesn't have to be about a relationship, when I first heard this song and came to this conclusion, I was thinking about friendship and a friendship I have with someone that runs just like this over and over again. |

it's too obvious what this song is about - friendship. he feels like he's being taken for granted by his friend, to the point where he's wondering "what the hell is wrong with me?" &then he realizes that his friend is the reason he feels like this, and though his friend is really just taking him for granted, he doesn't want to lose that person, even if they're really just taking for granted all the times he's helped them out no matter what. |

I don't really see this a a girl cheating on a guy as I do someone talking about his ex-girlfriend (or just even a good friend of his that he loves now) in an abusive relationship sorta. And she's stayhing with her boyfriend out of the belief that he loves her when in fact all he's doing is hurting her, and her ex/friend on the side will kick her boyfriend's ass next time he touches her/"my girl". I dunno, that's just my opinion. I love the song though |

| Paramore – Decode Lyrics | 17 years ago |

I can SO here the mix of Let the Flames Begin and Emergency in it. I love the song so much and... God, I can't even begin to describe it. The song in general is so chilling and amazing... definitely one of my all-time favorite Paramore songs, nothing by them has struck me so hard like this has (which is saying something, considering how long I've been a Paramore fan). It so reminds me of early Bella/Edward in the first book (like when she first came to Forks &saw him and everything they went through then). And I am SO glad this was written for Twilight, I love the series and now this song just makes me want the release sate for the movie to come even sooner! I love Paramore. I love Twilight. I love Edward! (though JacobxBella together is cute too!) Paramore once again has stolen my breath~ |
