They really do have a dance side. I saw FV in concert in Orlando, FL, shortly after this CD came out. They played a bunch of their old stuff, but the new songs like this one really had much more life and energy, especially live on stage. |

It was made for a CD featuring various songs based (very very very loosely) on Vampire clans from the game Vampire, the Masquerade. Neat curiosity CD. I bought it just for the Beborn Beton song. |

I see it as a song about suicide also. Maybe he is already dead and saying there is no use in dying in that he didnt find the love he was searching for in death even. Also, since the band is German, their English isnt always the best so sometimes things come out a bit stilted or garbled. |

Many of Beborn Betons songs are based on horror movies or have similar themes. You can apply a pretty literal meaning to the words. I see the song as being sort of like the scene in The Shining when the guy hacks through the door with an axe to get to his wife. He says he is reaching for a hatchet... seeking entry... tearing down walls to get to (her)... So I can see him singing the song holding her head or hair in his hands. |
