Lydia – Sleep Well Lyrics 16 years ago
To me, this song tells a story from two perspectives. It tells a tragic story of a girl struggling with addiction and her lover giving up hope. When he sings, it seems to be a recounting of all the terrible things that they've been through while also remembering the good. When she sings, it's distant and wavering.

"Tell me it's alright, tell me it's better."

Powerful; heartbreaking.

Thrice – Come All You Weary Lyrics 17 years ago
I'm going to have to agree with Rider36x. Whenever people start quoting Bible verses as if they are law, I tend to get a little whacked out, and that in itself can be sort of a weakness of mine in that it sort of blinds me to some of the obvious truths that they can contain. I have no problem with the Bible nor the Christian faith, but when it verges on militant I get just a little annoyed.

Anyway, despite the obvious allusions to Jesus Christ, I think this really song is a genuine lesson in human empathy. It creates a model character for kindness and compassion--a model that I think all of us can strive to be more akin to. Whether you take that to mean we should all love Jesus or not is really up to you. Personally, I'm going to go with the afforementioned notion that it's about helping out those you love, and when you need it, they will also return the favor.

Dustin's the shit. :)
