Robin Thicke – Lost Without U Lyrics 17 years ago
You know why the lyrics aren't pristine perfect?
They were written from his heart, likely in one evening, jotting his feelings down. They may not make sense to most people, but to him and his wife they do.
Plus it's smooth, and my husband has (but would never admit) had some major insecurities with our relationship due to a broken past and obstacles we've faced.
He's not the type to dedicate songs to me, but he sure knowshow to interpret any lyric he hears, and he devoted this to me.
We danced to it as the first song on our wedding (7.10.07)
Folllowed up by Justin Timberlake's 'Sexy Back' to break the ice and et the crowd moving.
Point made:
The song has been beneficial to me, and I'm sure many others who understand the deeper meaning of life and love.

Rob Thomas – Smooth Lyrics 17 years ago
My husband sang this song to me while we danced to it at his friend's wedding in florida. we'd only been dating 6 months and he sang it with such passion (not on key though :) that I couldn't help but feel the vulnerability he must have felt at that time while we fell in love.

5 years later, he hasn't changed.

Red flag or what?

I did give him my heart, i made it real, and HE forgot about it.
I should have seen his insecurity from a mile away.
take note if this song is dedicated to you, ladies.

it is a FANTASTIC, genius song with the combo of Santana and Rob Thomas, however.

Sade – No Ordinary Love Lyrics 17 years ago
I've loved this song for 15 years and as a child somehow it struck me emotionally, even though I had never felt the pain love can cause (or vice versa). But now i am at the end of a marriage, my husband and I have been through it all and back again- and I'm still strong enough to stay, but he is falling to his pride and i am losing him, after 'giving him everything I got' We both know this love is unique- we have a magnetic attraction to each other's souls that has kept us relentlessly faithful for so many years. And we've always shared a passion for Sade, so this is one of our favorite songs.
On a second note, I hear Sade went through a serious heroine adciction while in a relationship with one of the members of her band (I think they were married?), and when she finally gave up the drug, he couldn't, and she speaks about her pain trying to help him, save him from falling...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I have heard details about that here and there- either way, the song itself will break me down to tears for as long as i live.
