i think the reason this song is so beautiful and awesome to me is because it really relates to me just like the narrator, i need to let go of the damage in my heart. i think that he realizes that its the only way to move on but he doesn't want to give up those memories for whatever reason maybe because he is still hung up on whatever girl hurt him the heart works in weird ways sometimes even after we are hurt we still long for the person that hurt us... i know I do when he says "how the words..." i think he's referring to the words that she said to him, like the good ones, and thats part of why he cant let the damage go and then "one more tear...world" is my favorite line it really impacts... he's saying that he's been depressed fro so long over her that one more tear shed over her doesn't mean that much to the world but it takes so much out of him and then i also love the "one more loss...anymore" section. brilliant song |
