| Bonnie Raitt – Nick of Time Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| I always thought she sang "I see my folks get it on". Then I thought the parents caught her getting it on. Anyway, this is one of my favorite songs, has a sweet sentimental sadness to it. | |

| Mazzy Star – Into Dust Lyrics | 17 years ago |

I was going to not mention what it means to be until I made the video, but if someone wants to take my idea and run with it before I do that's fine because it would've been done for charity. Just remember where you got it from (the date of this post will show the copyright). To me this song is a prophetic vision and post-traumatic disorder of 9-11-01 (which happens to be my birthday, and I'm from N.Y. originally). Of course it relates to ones personal life, as all tragedies can. The video would start with the towers falling in slow motion (if you look at the archive or "9/11 conspiracy" video footage off google.video.com or youtube you'll see the towers are literally being blown into dust. This is one of the reasons why 'conspiracy nuts' as some call them say it was an inside job) with Hope Sandoval singing "Still... falling"... because for all of us that event will always live within us; thus the towers are still falling. The event certainly leaves you 'breathless'. It is still 'inside me today'.. and likewise we are turned into dust, +/or will be.. the towers could be interpreted as 'two strangers turning into dust', +/or two companion witnesses. 'My hand shook with the way I fear'. While the event brought people together, 'I could feel myself growing colder'. Certainly the U.S. has become an evil empire destroying our liberties at home while attacking and raping other countries, sanctioning torture, etc. "I could feel myself under your fate" "It was you breathless and tall I could feel my eyes turning into dust And two strangers turning into dust Turning into dust" |

| Mazzy Star – Fade Into You Lyrics | 17 years ago |

This song puts you with it's lyrics and melody into such a etheric state that you can forever experience it without ever stopping to think about what it means, but as I do it says to me: We are all ghosts in human shells. We reach out and fade into each other and the other person usually never knows, not consciously at least. It could mean the world to one person and nothing to the other yet they are still merged. A breath that's true is one breathing freely, perhaps one without toxins and poisons; poisons of a dirty city +/or the unconsciousness and dirty vibes of others. Seeing nothing can be the other's non reaction, not knowing you're looking at them. I always felt that it was a ghost in an obscure dimension where nothing exists but existence; no thing (as two words). The truth is beyond and within all the lies which are the shells we temporarily live in. Beyond that and in the meantime there is are eternal ghosts we fade into. We all live our lives in darkness and shadows, not knowing of the elements which exist all around us and within, including the thoughts and feelings that are timeless and eternal; even from those ghosts who've sent them but are 'gone'. The light in one's darkness makes you go blind and colors the eyes for what's not there because we all ghosts drifting, move on; we are there but as ghosts in this world we are also never seen; and by the time the thought or feeling reaches the person who's lived in darkness the ghost who sent out their essence out is gone. A stranger's light comes on slowly. The stranger is both the one singing and the one being sung to. A stranger's heart without a home is the equivalent of a vagabond on the streets, wandering. The witness observes the other's hand put into it's head, as it is lamenting, and into the head as if we are ghosts, as we are all ghosts. The reiki healing energies of the hands are also touching the head. Also it is the effort of the other to contsruct their own head, get their head "fixed", as it were, by attempting to reach it by their own hands; adjust attitudes and perceptions which is can feel is necessary. And then smiles cover your heart. That can be the witness fading into the other, filling up it's heart with smiles. Yet strange, the stranger never knew as I fade into you, even now. |
