"here i sit all tied up" the turniquet again, "all alone w/ all my thoughts" using drugs is usually done alone. "shoot me down before i get to high" the addiction will get him before he makes too much progress quitting. the song is a metaphor for struggling with heroin (jim cherry was addicted to it). trying to stay clean and giving in to addiction. |
