It could also have to do with how she cheated on a boyfriend and so he left her and now she's trying to tell him how he was the only one for her. |

Yeah, definitely. Persisitent as Jacob is in Eclipse. I also thought it had to with Edward(of course..)but from his point of view. It would probably be more of a Twilight song though if it was from Edward's point of view, since the lyrics show obsession and lack of control. "You've got this new head Filled up with smoke I've got my veins all tangled close" This could apply to his inability to hear her thoughts. This song does have to do with James, I think. At first when I heard this in the movie I thought that, considering the part the song comes on(right when she's in the parking lot expecting Edward to arrive, and he doesn't for the next week), that it had to do with her expecting Edward to come and he doesn't. "And I'm not scared Of your stolen power I see right through you any hour" That could be Bella. And "I won't soothe your pain I won't ease your strain You've been waiting in vain I've got nothing for you to gain" could be Edward saying how her waiting for him is a waste of time. But it could really be anything. Amazing song. |
